Mirroring
High-performance database mirroring is used to perform asynchronous operations between the principal and mirror databases that are installed in separate physical locations. Data2inform software buffers data at source during a failover event and ensures that no data is lost and that only correct data is displayed in the dashboards. For NHS applications data2inform operate CfH approved N3 networks.
NHS Data
L2S2 is expert at collecting data from many types of primary and secondary care systems and every day data is transferred from multiple NHS trust hospitals and GP surgeries to our N3 hosted facilities in Cambridge. Our servers provide live KPI dashboard reporting through N3 to clinicians and administrators inside NHS facilities. The L2S2 governance team work with the NHS governance experts to ensure that all Caldicott guidelines and CfH requirements are met.
Instrumentation
L2S2 collects data from industrial equipment in remote locations e.g. the African bush.
